HomeGoods

These beauties called my name as I pushed my cart by them in my local HomeGoods the other day.  At $29.99 each, they were a steal and I had to have them.

HomeGoods

Here’s a shot with the light off. It’s a great mercury glass look which I love and is so popular now.  Have you noticed that it’s everywhere lately?  Doesn’t bother me, though. I’ve always liked what I liked no matter what the trend, and it’s always served me well.

My house

Here’s a shot of my two lovelies in their new home, over the mantle in the seating area of my kitchen.  My goal is to move these into my dining room at some point.  I’m on the lookout for a console table that I can cover with some fabulous fabric to add some pop to my dining room.  I’ve been thinking about it for a while now.  Elizabeth from The Mustard Ceiling had a great tutorial yesterday on her blog. After reading it, I thought, I can do that too!  So, keep an eye out, console table project to come!

Have a great day!

  1. Can’t wait to see!! I am attempting covering a console table right now too…we will see how it works out…I am not great at DIY projects:) Take care, Caroline

  2. Hey there — lovely, all around! Can you possibly tell me the paint color in that room? I am looking for something exactly along those lines (looks like it reads gray-green?) for the house I am buying. Thanks!
