A feature in House of Fifty and my first giveaway!

Some exciting news today on a couple of fronts!  The second issue of House of Fifty online magazine was released today and I’m featured in the “Blogs we love” section.  Lakeitha of Home to 3 Duncan Boys and House of Fifty editor and I met during the Nicholas House project.  She had the room next door to mine.  We hit it off right away.  I was thrilled when she asked to include my little blog in HOF.  The first issue was fabulous and the second issue is even better!  Check it out here.

My other big news of the day is my 1st giveaway!  I’ve been doing some online shopping while trying to tackle that to do list I created here the other day.  I ended up in the home decor section at Target.com.  It’s no secret that I love Target and I am always impressed with the different collections they come up with throughout the year.  There’s always something for everyone and that got me thinking about you, lovely readers.

Which collection would be your favorite?  Would your fav be the same as mine?  If not, why?  So, I decided to whip up an inspiration board for each collection.  You choose your favorite, tell me why and then try and guess my favorite.  Once you’ve made your choice, shoot me a comment and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card from Target to use however you please!

  3. Congratulations on the feature. I personally like the Modern Serenity collection because it is simple yet abstract. I prefer things that have a modern feel to them. I think your favorite is the Forrest Floor collection. Thank you for the opportunity to win the Target gift card. 😉

I’ve looked at some of your past posts, and can’t quite decided, but I am going to pick the blossom collection as your fav. Fun giveaway!

  12. My favorite is the forest floor. The colors are warm and welcoming reminding me of
    fall which is my favorite season. And also the season in which I will be celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary1 I think your favorite might be modern serenity.     Not to hop on any bandwagons, but I have to go with the Forest Floor collection. The mushroom shadowboxes did it for me. Plus I’m a sucker for rustic elements intertwined with clean style, so that option is by far my favorite. 🙂

    Congratulations on your feature! My favorite is the Modern Serenity inspiration board. I love the recurring concentric circle theme and the pops of yellow. I just graduated from college as an interior design major and am currently looking for a job. After reading your ‘about’ page, it is so great to see how you were able to have be successful in the design field as well as raise a family. I can’t wait to check out the rest of your site!   68. It was hard for me to pick my favorite between the Modern Serenity and the Forest Floor, if I have only one choice I would go for the modern serenity but could see using both. It would be a “serenity floor collection.” I think you may go for the Forest Floor. Thanks for a chance to win!
